At Tail & Tale, we work hard to get every order to your door as quickly and safely as possible. Below you'll find everything you need to know about shipping, delivery, and tracking.
Shipping Destinations
We currently ship within the contiguous United States.
At this time, we do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or international destinations.
Processing Time
Orders are typically processed within 2–5 business days after they are placed.
Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will begin processing on the next business day.
During promotional events or holiday periods, processing times may be slightly longer due to increased order volume. If this happens, we'll do our best to keep you informed.
Shipping Time
Once your order has shipped, most deliveries arrive within 2–5 business days, depending on your location.
Please note that delivery times are estimates and may occasionally be affected by weather conditions, carrier delays, or other circumstances outside our control.
Shipping Cost
We currently offer free ground shipping on all orders within the contiguous United States.
Any applicable shipping charges for oversized items or special delivery requests will be displayed during checkout before payment.
Order Tracking
Once your order has shipped, you'll receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number.
Please allow 1–3 business days for the carrier to update the tracking information after you receive your shipping confirmation. During this time, your tracking status may not show any movement, which is completely normal.

Important Delivery Information
Please ensure that your shipping address is accurate before placing your order.
If you notice an error, contact us as soon as possible at tailtalecares@gmail.com. While we'll do everything we can to help, we cannot guarantee address changes once an order has been processed or shipped.
Tail & Tale is not responsible for packages delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer.
Lost or Delayed Packages
If your tracking information shows your package as delivered but you cannot locate it, we recommend:
- Checking around your property and any safe delivery locations.
- Asking household members or neighbors.
- Contacting the shipping carrier directly.

Before You Open Your Bed
Our orthopedic dog beds are vacuum-packed to ensure safe and efficient shipping.
Please verify that you've selected the correct size before opening the inner vacuum seal. Once the mattress has fully expanded, it cannot be compressed back to its original shipping size, which may affect return eligibility.
If you're unsure about sizing after receiving your order, please contact us before opening the vacuum packaging—we're happy to help.
