Returns & Exchanges Policy
We want you and your pup to love every Tail & Tale purchase. If something isn't quite right, we're here to help.
Please review our return and exchange policy below before submitting your request.
Return Window
Returns or exchanges may be requested within 30 days of the delivery date.
To start a return or exchange, please email tailtalecares@gmail.com with your order number and the reason for your request.
Return Eligibility
To be eligible for a return or exchange, items must be:
- In new or gently used condition
- Free from excessive wear, damage, or misuse
- Returned with all original components
Please note that products damaged by chewing, scratching, accidents, improper use, or normal wear and tear are not eligible for return.
Orthopedic Dog Beds
Our orthopedic beds are vacuum-packed for shipping.
Please confirm you've selected the correct size before opening the inner vacuum seal. Once the memory foam has fully expanded, it cannot be compressed back to its original shipping size.
If you have any questions about sizing after receiving your order, please contact us before opening the vacuum packaging. We'll be happy to help determine the best solution.
Return Shipping
If you're returning an item because you've changed your mind, ordered the wrong size, or no longer need it, return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility.
If your item arrives damaged, is defective, or we shipped the wrong product, Tail & Tale will provide a replacement or cover the return shipping cost at no additional charge.
Refunds
Once your return has been received and inspected, we'll notify you by email of the approval status.
If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method.
Please allow 5–10 business days for your financial institution to process and post the refund after it has been issued.
Original shipping charges (if applicable) are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
Exchanges
If you'd like a different size or product, please contact us at tailtalecares@gmail.com.
We'll be happy to help arrange an exchange whenever possible.
Final Sale Items
Items marked as Final Sale are not eligible for returns or exchanges.
